About Us
What is Crossdykes Community Benefits Limited (CCBL)?
CCBL is a charitable company registered in Scotland, number SC051595.
Crossdykes Community Benefit Fund (CCBF) is the working name of Crossdykes Community Benefits Limited.
It distributes community benefit funds donated by the owners of Crossdykes Wind Farm.
It will fund community-led charitable activities that support the regeneration and sustainability of local communities.
Board of Directors
The membership of CCBL comprises up to ten local community members nominated by local community councils, two each from the five community council areas covered by the fund. These are Langholm, Ewes and Westerkirk; Lockerbie and District; Middlebie and Waterbeck; Eskdalemuir and North Milk. These ten community members also act as the company's directors. A further five directors may be appointed for their skills and expertise.
The directors make the decisions on all applications to the main fund. Contact your local community council if you need to speak to board members directly.
Secretariat
Company administration and grant-making support is provided by Foundation Scotland, a national grant-making charity with expertise in supporting community benefit funds.
